More of Recent Happenings...

August 18-31, 2011...continued

Above: Solvang family pictures and hanging out with Uncle Plupp in the coffee shop.
Above: We went to the most amazing park in Solvang! It was a wooden medieval style playground that even had a misting machine for hot days (like the one we decided to go on). We brought snacks and soccer balls, frisbees, and Ty's banjo and were able to relax and have a great time! We will definitely be going back to that park very soon!
Above: Sunday afternoon with Daddy. Playing cars and napping the day away. It was perfect.
Above: Enjoying each other's company on another stay home all day kind of a day. We get some good Mommy babies bonding time in and I soak up every second that I can! You boys are growing up way too fast, and I'm trying to enjoy every second of you!

Catching Up On The Last Couple of Weeks...

August 18-31, 2011

There will be lots of pictures from the last couple of weeks!

Above: We were spending the afternoon at Nana and Papa's house while Daddy was at work. Carter you enjoyed jumping around in your bouncer and Oliver you were enjoying all of the toys Nana has for you. You boys were even interacting quite a bit, it was very cute!
Above: We spent a great day at home together. We took a day out of the week to just be together, we didn't go anywhere or have anyone over and it was pretty amazing. Oliver, we sat and cuddled on my bed while we watched your favorite movie "Cars". We snacked on some fishy crackers and enjoyed each others company while brother napped, it was truly the best. We also ended up taking a trip to the park that's across the street from our house and kicked the soccer ball around. You enjoyed gathering rocks and sticks as well. :) Carter you taught yourself how to sit up that day. You figured it out all by yourself! You are an amazing little guy...
Above: Oliver, you were enjoying a yummy cupcake that your buddy Melissa had made for you. You had a nice frosting mustache that your Dad and I got a kick out of. You were making some silly faces. Carter you enjoyed crawling all over the church since you decided that you were going to talk and make really loud happy noises during church. It was cute, but probably not a great idea to distract everyone in the auditorium!
Above: We spent a day in SLO with Papa and your aunties and uncle. We went to the bookstore and sat to enjoy each others company over some coffee. You both were so tired on the way home that you slept the entire way.
Above: We spent one Saturday in Solvang with Nana and Papa. We browsed through a bunch of shops and ate at a very cute little restaurant where we were able to eat outside. It was a lot of fun. Oliver you really enjoyed the cowboy hats you were trying on.
Above: More pictures of SLO...reading books and riding in the car.

Too Many Cute Pictures

August 2, 2011

Carter, you take so many cute pictures! It's hard to take a bad picture when you're so smiley all the time. I absolutely love it. You get so excited and start wiggling all around which makes for some blurry pictures, but your always smiling! You melt my heart...

Oliver, you insisted on wearing only one shoe around the house all day yesterday along with my green hat and your "ching ching" of course. The pirate song is still your current obsession, I think we listened to it 1,000 more times today, and that was with me limiting the number of times it was played!

You thought it would be funny to fake cry so I had to snap a picture of it. :) We played the "Cars" movie for you for the first time last night and you loved it. You got up first thing this morning and asked me to turn it on for you. "Tow Tow" is your favorite character.

Carter, you've been crawling all over the living room exploring all of the different toys and you absolutely love when we leave a pair of tennis shoes on the floor. You can't get to them fast enough and you squeal with excitement. Oliver, today the neighbors cat came up to hang out on our patio and you couldn't get enough of her. You sat there pointing and smiling and she would come right up to the glass rubbing her face all over trying to play with you. We love that you enjoy other people's pets! :)
