Weekly Recap

June 25-July 1, 2012
Monday
Morning workout...holla!
I started out the morning with a workout...I haven't done that in so long and it felt really good to get it done and out of the way. This was our first day potty training and you can read all about it here. It was a good day, we stayed home and peed on the potty most of the day.
This is Oliver right before we started potty training, it was serious business obviously!

He enjoyed "playing" while he sat.
In the afternoon all of my sisters came over as well as our friends Melissa and Kirsten, we hung out by the pool for a couple of hours (and they brought us cupcakes!). The weather was perfect for it and we really enjoyed sitting around and chatting.
That night we had dinner with Kaleb after he got home from work and Bible study and spent the evening at home watching movies!
Tuesday
I got up before the boys did to make them breakfast. They were so excited when they got up, it was only scrambled eggs and fruit but we normally just have oatmeal so this was a treat for them.
Little brother kept watching Oliver while he tried to use the potty. I'll be posting about all of the details in Adventures In Potty Training Day Two later this week.
Kaleb was so sweet to leave me iced coffee in the fridge before he left for work that morning. It was so refreshing to have already made to sip and enjoy while the boys napped.
They each slept for about three hours which they hardly ever do. That's a long time for them, but I soaked up every second of Oliver sleeping away on my lap.
Kaleb got home we went about our normal evening routine and I snapped this picture right before bed. Kaleb was reading Oliver his favorite book "Pirate Potty", he sits and reads it while he's using the potty it's perfect.
Wednesday
Our morning started much earlier than normal and I think it had to do with Carter cutting some teeth so we decided to spend the morning watching Toy Story 3 and cuddling.
Oliver fell asleep for a long nap once again. Potty training is obviously wearing him out!

In the afternoon all of my siblings came over to keep us company because we had been inside for the last three days and the boys were getting so very stir crazy!
This is how Oliver dressed the majority of the time...butt naked with a headband.
Thursday
My sister Bethany and Oliver watching youtube videos.

Oliver coloring at Papa's house.
It had been a rough couple of days and the boys were getting stir crazy so I had decided the night before we were going to get out of the house, it didn't matter where we went! I had been hesitant to put a diaper back on Oliver but decided to risk it and head over to my parents house.
I had to grab a free Starbucks of course!

At the park relaxing.

My sister Kylie and I enjoying the sunshine.
After lunch we headed to the park to play and relax in the shade. It was really good for all of us and we had a really good time! The boys got to run off plenty of energy that they had been storing up all week!
That afternoon we found out we were expecting Baker baby number 3 and we are overjoyed! We don't like keeping news like that a secret so we headed to my family's house to tell everyone. Their reaction was priceless! I'll be giving more details on all of that and the pregnancy so far in a separate post soon!

Since Oliver did so well the day before that we decided to get out of the house again and head back to my parents house. We had lunch and hung out for awhile before deciding to take a walk to Starbucks with my siblings and a couple of friends. That night we headed to a surprise birthday party for our niece Zarissa (she's 18! woo!) and had a good time with family and friends there.
Saturday
Kaleb and I got up somewhat early, the boys were still sleeping so I headed out for a run while he stayed home to read and get the boys breakfast once they got up. It was so refreshing! I really need to get out and do that more, it was such a great way to start the day. I came home, we all got ready, and we headed to church for a memorial service. We ran errands the rest of the day and spent some time cleaning up the house and doing laundry.
I snapped this picture on our way into the grocery store. Oliver was "talking" on the phone and Carter was enjoying watching him.
Sunday
We went to church, had lunch with my family after, and went to my parents house to take the boys on a walk in the wagon to Starbucks. From there we walked to church for the evening service and then walked back to my parents house for dinner.

My brother and his friends brought me a donut that night and I was so excited! They were so sweet and went out of their way to bring it to me....I fully enjoyed it. :)

I hope everyone had a good week! Ours was crazy with potty training, but we were still able to enjoy it!
