The Month Of March Highlighted

Why not kick off the month with Mama/baby matching slouch beanies??

On March 3rd Harper turned one!! We had a fun little birthday party with family. Harper was SO shy when everyone sang her happy birthday and of course indulged in her own little cake. You can read her birthday post HERE if you missed it.

My friend was due any day with her first baby boy and I got to make him a custom blanket for his room! It was such a fun project for me, my first baby blanket ever!

My boys love bringing me flowers while they're outside playing. It's one thing I try to never take for granted because I know soon enough they'll outgrow it and I'll miss it.

Carter and I spent one Saturday afternoon running errands together! We stopped at Starbucks for treats first and then he helped me with grocery shopping. I love having one on one time with him.

That afternoon I got to go and meet my friend's brand new baby boy!! He is so sweet! I'm very excited for them and I can't wait to introduce him to his BFF Sawyer in a few months.

So all three of my kids decided to get sick at the same time. They all got this terrible cold that left them with congestion, coughs, fevers, and sad little eyes.

First Harper was diagnosed with a sinus/ear infection so she was put on antibiotics...

Two days later this boy was crying in pain saying that his ear hurt (which he never does!) so I took him in and he only ended up having an outer ear infection which seemed to clear by the next day.

Praise the Lord for my sis and her amazing fiance! They had plans to go to the beach in Santa Barbara that Sunday and asked if they could take the boys with them. It worked out perfectly because Harp was still so sick, the boys needed time out of the house, and we had so many errands to run that day. It made the day so much easier!

One morning I was really frazzled with the kids going stir crazy inside, trying to get everyone ready, and keeping Harper's fever controlled all while making it to a doctor's appointment for her. Well it turns out I walked right out the door without grabbing any of my keys! No house keys, no car keys, and on a day that Kaleb was so busy at work he couldn't even answer his phone. FANTASTIC! Thankfully my Dad wasn't working that day and managed to find 3 car seats and ran over to pick us up. He totally saved us!

Harper seemed to be getting better over the weekend with her antibiotics but come Monday morning she woke up with a high fever so I took her in to get her checked. Turns out the antibiotics weren't working AT ALL and she was only getting worse. The next step was to start a 3 round course of antibiotic shots (poor baby) so we ended up in the dr's office for a visit everyday for the next three days. It's safe to say she's now traumatized of that office. She ended up running a fever of 104 throughout the entire treatment and if she would have had a fever for half a day more they were thinking of hospitalizing her to run tests. Thank the Lord she broke her fever at the very last minute! She's been great ever since (minus cutting 6 teeth at once).

Once all three kids were finally healthy we made sure to get out of the house and enjoy some sunshine!

Cali baby all the way.

And more park days followed...

Complete with capes and swords.

This is Harp's new face which is too cute not to share!

Carter is so into his baby brother! He can't wait until he gets here. He always ask how baby Sawyer is doing and wants to feel him kick.

"Take a funny pitcha of me Mama!"

Oliver hanging with some manikins...

Carter decided his bellybutton plays great music...

and he takes smoothie drinking very messin around.

Besides the sickness the month of March was super fun! It also included me turning 26 but I'll save that for another post!

BUMPdate: 28 Weeks (7 Months)

Ok time is legitimately flying! We are in the thirst trimester now and my longest pregnancy has been ten weeks from now...TEN! What the what?!?! I am definitely starting to feel VERY pregnant. My lower back is killing me, my ligaments are killing me, my lack of sleep is killing me, and I still have three toddlers to chase after. Holy moly. My heart rate also started acting up pretty bad over the last week and I had to start my medication which has really helped so far. This is the longest I've gone without it in all of my pregnancies so I consider that a huge victory! And with every ache and pain I'm trying to enjoy every second because this *might* be the last time I get to experience this! I said MIGHT people! :)
I'm up 18 pounds (cringe) and am always feeling this boy move, kick, wiggle, and hiccup. He is quite the active boy, especially at night. I had a doctor's appointment today and the doctor said I'm measuring up to 2 weeks behind but that he still considers it normal. We're going in two weeks for an ultrasound where they'll measure his size and chart his growth. We haven't seen this boy since our gender ultrasound at 17 weeks so I'm very excited! Ultrasounds are the next best thing to actually meeting your baby in my opinion. :) Lots of people have been asking me if I'm "due any day now" and are pretty shocked to find out that I have a few more months to go.

Life Update: The Last Five Months Highlighted

October 2013

We started the month out with a trip to Disneyland! And it happened to be Kaleb and I's 7 year date-iversary. It was really fun to celebrate with all of our kids at the happiest place on earth! So many good memories of our dating days to reminisce.

While Kaleb was in Japan on business for a week I surprisingly found out we were expecting baby number 4! Kaleb wasn't able to call me hardly at all so I had no idea when I'd be able to tell him so I emailed him...yah that happened.

We celebrated Halloween a couple of days early by going to our friend's Halloween party! It was so much fun...the boys got to decorate pumpkins and eat candy while the parents got to hang with friends, it was great!

On Halloween we went trick or treating around our neighborhood with my family. Fun was had by all! Carter was Ironman, Oliver was a pirate (every year), and I was a Starbucks Barista with my little Harpy Latte.

November 2013

I set up a table for my handmade shop for the first time ever! It was so much fun and I sold a bunch of stuff! Eventually when I have more time I would love to do more of these types of events but for now I've closed up shop to focus on being a Mama. It was so hard to balance taking care of three kids and running a small handmade business.

My sister got engaged!!! Shes getting married in August to the sweetest guy named Lorin and we are all VERY excited!

Auntie KyKy and Uncle Lowin with all the kids.

We announced our pregnancy with baby number four! You can read that post HERE if you missed it. Also, some more pictures from this photo sesh can be found HERE. We had planned on waiting awhile longer to announce but I was REALLY showing and it was getting much harder to hide.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family. Every year we go to my grandparent's house for lunch and we always really enjoy getting to spend that time with family.

December 2013

We kicked off the month with a trip to Disneyland with my family and a few of our closest friends! It was so much fun and a perfect way to wrap up our annual passes. We're taking a break this year but hopefully we'll be able to go again next year. Until then, we'll enjoy all of the memories made with these last passes.!

The boys LOVE Disneyland and can't wait to go back again next year.

We got to see Kaleb's parents (Grandma and Grandpa Baker) and our niece Brooke for the holidays. Such a special treat since we hardly ever get to see them! We loved having them here for almost a month!

CHRISTMAS!! We did lots of celebrating with our little family, my side of the family, and Kaleb's side of the family. I love having so much family around to enjoy all of the holidays with! The kids really loved it!

January 2014

We kicked off the new year with some more out of town family! This time it was my side of the family and we got to enjoy my Grandma, Aunt, and cousins. It was so much fun seeing everyone and definitely getting to see everyone love on the kids. The kids soaked it up and enjoyed every second!

My brother got married!! We were so excited to (officially) bring Ashley into the family and were super excited to gain another sister.

Here's a pic of all of us girls. SISTERS!

And one of our little family all dressed up (minus Harper who was being passed around to different family members. :) )

We found out we were expecting another BOY. You can read that post HERE if you missed it.

February 2014

For my sister's birthday we drove up the coast to visit Big Sur for the day. I only took Harper and it was fun to have a little girl time with her. She's such a sweet and easy going baby and she loves being outside! It was really fun.

My sister Kylie, our dearest friend Brittany, and me. We had so much fun exploring! I wish we had more time up there.

Carter turned 3! We threw him a little Ironman party with my family and he loved every second! He was showered with love and lots of Avengers toys. You can imagine how happy he was.

We gave the boys Avengers (temporary) tattoos and Carter was very, very impressed. It was so much fun celebrating his special day!

BUMPdate 25 Weeks

Twenty-five Weeks
Six Months and One Week

I absolutely love being pregnant. Everything about the entire experience is amazing! I will admit being pregnant along with having a sinus infection and three sick babies is very challenging and frustrating and draining but we are on the mend!

I simply cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has been going. I have a feeling I'll be saying the same thing when I'm holding a brand new baby boy in my arms in just a few months. We had a checkup last week and everything looks great! Sawyer boy is so wiggly that the doc can never get a heart rate reading on him. Every time the doctor manages to find his heart beat Sawyer flips over to the opposite side trying to get away. He's obviously very healthy and strong in there!

One thing I've been really enjoying and soaking up are this little boys movements. I love every kick, flip, hiccup, and elbow. I think he's been staying head down the majority of the time now but he does still flip around. I've been feeling his little feet pressing out against my hand and it blows me away every time! I can actually feel his little heels and toes! I absolutely love getting to bond with him in this way and I feel like I already know him without ever seeing his face. I really hope we get a good sneak peak 3D ultrasound next trimester of his little face.

Bending over is getting a little rough with having a basketball sized belly now and my back has been starting to hurt more but that's to be expected especially with this being my fourth pregnancy in the last 4 1/2 years! I'm crazy excited to meet him but I am also enjoying every second of these last few months!
