16 Weeks!!
FOUR MONTHS PREGNANT ALREADY?!?!?! I can’t believe how
quickly this pregnancy is going, we’ll have a new baby in the house in five or
six months! I’m feeling really good, still having contractions but the doctor
seems to think it’s fine. The amount of discomfort I have doesn’t feel normal
but I’m taking the medication he prescribed and I go back in to see him in a
week and a half. I lay down and rest when I can and TRY not to overdo it…
I have been all about burgers and fries this time around,
it’s kind of awful, but so good at the same time! I’ve only gained 6 pounds so
far (surprisingly) and I’m hoping to keep it to 25 when it’s all said and done
but really, I’ve been eating burgers and fries like nobody’s business so
whatever…
My wardrobe consists of maxi skirts, dresses, one pair of
maternity shorts, and one pair of jeggings I found in the girls section at
Target. Seriously though, they’re just like maternity pants only $30 cheaper!
Hallelujah…with my growing belly I'm going to have to start getting creative soon I think...
Funny things pregnancy related….
*I forget stuff ALL THE TIME…it’s ridiculous….most of the
time I have to think back really hard to try and figure out if I’ve already
taken my medication for the day…or I’ll walk out of the house without the car
keys….or I’ll forget what I’m saying mid sentence…these are just a few
examples, it’s bad…
*Oliver while hugging my belly “Woah! Your belly got really
big! We gotta get the baby out NOW!” It’s funny to me that he acknowledges my
belly growing…
*Carter is either kissing my belly (awwww sweet!) or beats
it (like CPR chest compressions beats it) just for fun. I guess he’s practicing
his “big brother” duties already….
*I point to my belly and ask Carter “Who’s in there?” Carter
says “BABY!” and then lifts is shirt up, points, and yells “BABY!”…he’s getting
there…
I can’t wait to find
out boy or girl! Maybe in the next month we’ll know…

ReplyDeleteThank you!! I think it's so funny that Oliver acknowledges my belly getting bigger! I didn't think they would hardly notice since they're with my everyday...
DeleteAwww... I think our due dates are probably close! We are expecting baby #4 on or around March 15. :) I've enjoyed reading your posts...helps me feel like I'm not the only one! lol :) Congrats and Best Wishes!
ReplyDeleteI'm due March 8th :) Baby might come in February though if he/she is like the older two. My boys were 2 and 3 weeks early. I LOVE that you have twin girls! I've always said that if I have girls I want twin girls haha I'm sure it's so much fun!
