4 MONTHS 1 WEEK
I still can't believe we are over four months into this pregnancy, it's going by so fast! I love love being pregnant but at the same time I can't wait to meet this baby! Kaleb and I have been talking quite a bit about that moment they put the baby up on my chest and so begins that magical time of getting to know your new little bundle. I am so looking forward to that moment! We don't even know yet if this baby is a he or a she (although I'm pretty sure it's a he :) ) but we are so in love!
Kaleb got to feel the baby wiggling and kicking for the first time this last week. It was amazing, I've never felt the baby move that much and it started almost as soon as Kaleb put his hand on my belly. He was able to feel tons of movement, it was so very sweet. I loved seeing the smile of Kaleb's face while we both got to experience getting to know our new little person a little better.
I'm feeling pretty good overall. I'm still having some contractions, I'm still taking the medication, but I'm really not feeling like it's doing much. I have an appointment next week so hopefully we'll get a better idea of what's going on or better yet if anything's going on. I can totally live with having contractions all the time if they're not putting my baby in any danger, I have absolutely no problem with that! I really do want to make sure they aren't doing anything though!
There is a one week difference between these two pics!! Major difference...
My belly GREW this week. Literally grew over night....ok maybe just throughout one day. I've never noticed that with any of my other pregnancies, but Sunday I felt like I went to bed that night with a much bigger belly than what I woke up with and no it wasn't just bloating! It's only gotten bigger since...I am happy that I can pretty much see my baby getting bigger almost right in from of my eyes :)
I just read recently that the baby grows from 5 inches (at 16 weeks) to 10 inches (at 20 weeks) in only four weeks! That's a crazy amount of growing in such a short amount of time! You can expect my belly to be MUCH bigger in the next three weeks.
According to babycenter.com here is what our baby looks like this week and is about the size of a turnip (cause everyone knows how big that is right?? :) ).
