The Mommy Brain Mixer: BUMPdate 24 Weeks!

I am so excited to be co-hosting the Mommy Brain Mixer for the second time with the very sweet Cassie from Two In Diapers!

Here is my weekly BUMPdate!

I can't believe I am already six months pregnant! The time is flying by! I can really tell the difference from this week to last as far as size goes...she's definitely growing in there. 

She could potentially be here in twelve weeks and that blows my mind. Kaleb and I were talking the other night about how soon that is and how quickly it creeped up. It'll only speed up from here I'm sure!

I have my glucose test in a couple of weeks, I know I'll pass but I'm not looking forward to drinking that stupid sugary drink. Hopefully I won't feel too crappy afterwards. My body has been more sensitive to sugar but only in the mornings when I don't have a ton of food in my stomach.

According to Babycenter.com the baby is just over a pound and about a foot long (same as an ear of corn). The picture above is what she most likely looks like floating around in my belly.

She has been kicking, rolling, punching, and hicupping a ton lately! You name it, she's doing it! I absolutely love it! It's fun to sit and watch my belly wiggle all around and Kaleb loves feeling her move around as well. She's been much more active for him than the boys ever were. The boys would always wiggle like crazy until he put his hand on my belly...every once in awhile he'd feel some good kicks but not nearly as often as he's been able to feel with Harper. Daddy's girl already!

I've been feeling really good this last week! I'm still comfortable enough to really enjoy being pregnant and get more excited every day to meet this precious little life! I haven't had a ton of contractions besides braxton hicks, but I have felt more period crampy than normal and I never know whether to be worried about that or not. The braxton hicks have kicked it up a notch this week, they're now strong enough to make my whole belly hard and it's uncomfortable but not painful. 

Carter decided to jump in the picture with his sister and was very obviously excited about it! I love that kid! He's going to be such a cute big brother to Harper! He knows her name and if I ask where she is he'll point to my belly, but I'm really excited to see his reaction once she's here. I'm sure he doesn't really understand that she's a real person who'll be with us forever.

Hopefully this next week will be uneventful and the pregnancy continues to be healthy. Thank you to everyone who is praying for us and Harper. We really do appreciate it!
