Way Behind...

November 17-27, 2011

I have gotten very behind on keeping things updated! So much has happened in the last month that I just couldn't keep up. God has been doing some amazing things in our family and we are so excited about it! The growing has been painful, but God has been moving and molding our hearts into what He wants for us. Daddy and I pray everyday that God will give you both the faith to believe in Him and that you realize that without Him we are nothing. We love you boys so incredibly much! Dad had a few extra days off recently so we took full advantage of them!

We spent our first day at the park feeding the ducks and enjoying a picnic lunch.

We pretty much got attacked by every duck in Waller Park because we were one of the only people there to give them food! :)

We spent the second day walking around the mall, its one of our absolute favorite things to do as a family! Our mall is not all that great for shopping, but we truly love just walking around getting coffee and treats and letting you play on the little rides they have.

You were pretty excited about it.

We spent the third day celebrating Aunt Beth's 9th birthday! We went to the movies (your very first time besides the couple of times when you were itty bitty and slept through the whole thing) and had dinner at McDonald's (Aunt Beth's birthday dinner choice!). We headed back to Nana and Papa's for cupcakes and presents! You love singing happy birthday to people Oliver, it's really cute.

Happy Birthday Aunt Beth!

Enjoying the cupcakes.

Mama and Daddy <3

We celebrated Thanksgiving! Every year we go over to your Great Grandpa and Grandma Hines house and spend the holiday with them. We had fun and were able to enjoy some yummy food and good company!

This is as close as we got to a family picture. :)

Oliver you enjoyed running around and exploring and playing in a new place.

Papa was being silly.

We decided to make it our Sunday afternoon tradition to go over to Papa and Nana's house for the day to relax and spend time with everybody. Both of you love to play over there because they have tons of toys and animals and people to play with.

Mama and Daddy love to love on you, Oliver. You're too sweet not to kiss!

We've also started taking you on a wagon ride every Sunday.

Not only do you both love it, but you both fall asleep. Shhh that's really the point of going! :)

We fully enjoyed all of the extra time Daddy had at home with us. Our family is growing and strengthening because Christ has been the focus. He is the foundation for our family and we want you boys to see that throughout our day to day so that you can come to know Him for yourselves someday. He has been so good and faithful to us in times of sadness and heartache. He has healed and continue to heal us everyday. He used to painful stuff to grow our family closer to Him and closer to each other and we are so grateful!
