The Perfect Weekend

We had a great Saturday together! We were able to drive up to San Luis where we ate at Carl's Jr. (that had a playground!), stopped by a donut store that we had never been to, and grabbed some coffee! After our trip to SLO we visited the Santa Maria Public Library for the first time ever, dropped by the mall, and headed over to Cold Stone for some ice cream! It was so much fun.

Oliver fell asleep on the car ride....

We had lunch! And after Oliver got to go out and play for a bit. It was super cold and a little drizzly so that was short lived for Daddy's sake, Oliver could have cared less! Mama and Carter got to sit inside and play in the warmth and coziness of Carl's Jr. :)

We stopped for donuts at a place called "Sunshine Donuts". Let's just say we won't be going back there! The donuts were alright, but the people were CRAZY! We brought our donuts to Starbucks and devoured them there.

You both got to play with toys and puzzles at the library.

Daddy read a couple of books for you guys.

Carter really enjoyed crawling around and exploring!

I don't have any pictures of our trip to the mall, but we went to the pet store to check out all of the animals. Oliver said "I probably look at snakes!" He really enjoys all of the reptiles and tarantulas. Sick!

We ended the day with Cold Stone ice cream!! That's right we had ice cream before dinner and it was awesome! The perfect way to wrap up a perfect Saturday as a family!
