The Sweetest Things...: Christmas Festivities

We started a new tradition this year! We decided that every year on Christmas Eve we would make and decorate Christmas cookies. It was so much fun!! The boys loved getting messy, eating lots of sugar, and making an absolute mess out of cookies and sprinkles. Can't wait to do it again next year!

We spent Christmas Eve at my Grandparent's house after we all went to church together. We had dinner, opened gifts, and enjoyed dessert. It was fun to be with everyone and we got to enjoy the luxury of a fireplace for the night.

The boys were completely spoiled and so excited to play with the new toys my Grandparents got them.

We came home, put the boys to bed, and set out all of the gifts for the boys to open the next morning! I don't think Kaleb or I slept very good that night because we were so excited! We couldn't wait for the boys to get up and see what was under the tree!

Christmas morning we got the boys up because they sleep so late and we couldn't wait any longer! We opened stockings, had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast (french toast casserole), and opened all of the gifts that were under our tree. It was fun watching the boys enjoy everything that we got for them!

After we were done we headed to my parent's house to open all of the gifts their and enjoyed a super yummy lunch that my Mom put together. We lounged and enjoyed each other's company the rest of the afternoon and had a really good time! The boys were completely spoiled by everyone!
