Happy Third Birthday Sweet Oliver!

Three years ago I was so ready to meet my first sweet little boy! He surprised us my making his grand entrance into the world two weeks early and it was most definitely love at first sight! Baby boy was born at 3:16 am weighing in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long.

He was born with dark hair, skin, and eyes but by three months old he was bald, white, and blue eyed! I can't believe how quickly he changed and grew! He said his first word on command "dada" at 4 1/2 months old and has been a chatter box ever since! By a year old he was saying words like "airplane" and impressing people with his large vocabulary. He got his first teeth and started crawling at ten months old. When he turned thirteen months old he became a big brother and started walking the day we brought Carter home from the hospital. Around the same time he became obsessed with pirates and has only become more interested in them ever since.

At three years old his best little buddy is his brother Carter and he's getting ready to welcome a sister into his little world. He is always carrying a weapon or two and wearing some sort of pirate garb. He would probably dress up in full pirate costume everyday with pirate makeup and mustache if we would let him. He's very quiet and doesn't like to socialize too much but is a non stop chatterbox at home and at Nana and Papa's house. Oliver loves to watch movies and videos especially if it's Pirates of The Caribbean. His favorite place to visit would be Disneyland and would eat an all sugar diet if he was allowed. He knows all of his colors and can count to ten but we haven't started working on his alphabet yet. He already asks to go to school but this Mama's not ready for that yet.

We love you so much Oliver Sherwin! We pray that you grow up knowing and loving your Savior Jesus Christ!
