My Babies As Big Brothers

There is nothing like seeing my little guys as big brothers. They are so sweet and so in love with their baby sister!

The picture above is the day Carter met his baby sister. He walked straight up to her, kissed her, and said "I want to hold it!". For some reason he always calls Harper an "it" it's hilarious! He hasn't once been jealous of her, he's only ever showed love and affection. The second he walked in the room at the hospital he walked straight over to see her. It seemed like he had always known her instead of them meeting for the first time. He just knew she was part of the family and completely embraced it. My heart melts just thinking about it!
Oliver is the sweet protective brother. He is always checking on her and making sure she's ok. If she starts to cry Oliver is the first to respond...first thing in the morning when he wakes up or even in the middle of playing he pops in, asks where she is, and asks if she's ok. He's very sweet to her!
They're both naturally very gentle with her! They know to be careful and soft around her. They like to point out how tiny she is.... "look at her tiny ears!" "look! tiny feet!"...Carter even rocks her very gently when she's in her bassinet or car seat.
Carter loves to hold her and give her kisses, it was the first thing he did when he saw her and I love how naturally it came to him being affectionate with her! Nothing warms my heart more than to see all of my children loving each other so well!

The picture above is Oliver "checking" on Harper. We were out for pizza and even though she was sitting right up on the table he peaked over and said "Is Harper ok?", very sweet.

This is our first picture as a family of five! The boy's faces crack me up! Little hams...
