Friday night: Daddy's home!!

Daddy was gone all week for work and we missed him a lot! He was in Minnesota and we couldn't wait for him to be home. Friday night we went to pizza with Nana and Papa and then headed home to get things ready for Dad to get home. You boys went to bed because he wasn't getting home until really late.  Saturday morning was great because you woke up to Daddy getting you out of your cribs. :)

Saturday: Family Walk

We went out for our little walk on Saturday, one of the things we missed the most while Daddy was gone. It was very fun and refreshing to walk to Starbucks and a couple of stores as a family again. There was lots of Daddy cuddles all day long.

Aunt Kari caught a frog for Aunt Beth to keep as a pet, but Oliver you got to enjoy it until we took it over to her house. You loved it. Sunday we went to church, had lunch at Nana and Papa's house and spent the afternoon over there with the family, that night Mom and Dad went out for a date and you boys got to spend some time with Nana, Papa, Uncle Ty Ty and all of your Aunties. We met you at Target after and Oliver you kept saying "Ew girls!" making your scrunchy nose face over and over again. Super cute! You also found a "Cars" tricycle that you loved riding around the store!

Our date to the Olive Garden was delicious!! Lasagna, parmesan bread, soup, alfredo, chicken parmegana, and CHOCOLATE CAKE! YUM! We had fun together....

Rough Week.... But I Still Love You Guys...

This week has been a little rough.... ok who am I kidding this week has been terrible. Oliver, I think you're having a hard time communicating things to us and we think it's frustrating you quite a bit. You are very good at talking for your age and you understand an incredible amount, you're just in that stage where your mind is far more advanced than your mouth and you know it. This phase will end soon enough, until then I'll lose my mind :) I love you!

Carter man, you have been growing your little tooth on the bottom front of your mouth. This little tooth has been bothering you so you've been a little cuddlier than normal (which means you want to be held all the time.) This is a little hard when your brother's running around getting into everything.

Daddy left on Sunday for the week. He had to go to Minnesota for work, so we've been having all of your aunts and your uncle here for sleepovers. Oliver, you've been staying up until midnight and sleeping in until eleven every morning! It's been fun....here's a few pictures of the past week...

We went hiking out at Avila Beach with our friends Crestienne and baby Sterling. You loved the beach and the toy corner at the Hula Hut. The weather was perfect and you had a ton of fun.

We had dinner with Nana and Papa at IHOP tonight. Oliver you enjoyed some grilled cheese sandwiches and Carter you enjoyed the milk and the company :)

We went to Starbucks with Auntie Kenzie tonight and both of you fell asleep when we got there. So me and Kenzie enjoyed some coffee together. It was very sweet :)

Oliver, Nana bought you the Cars helmet that you've been wanting for over a month now. You try it on every time we go to the store. You were very excited. Carter you're still working on crawling and you've been having a ton of fun jumping up and down in the bouncer toy we have for you. Oliver you have been really enjoying Ty Ty and Papa's guitars. It's super cute to watch you play....

We may be going to the beach tomorrow! I'm very excited to take you Oliver, you really love the sand and the water...
