The Pumpkin Patch

The Avila Valley Barn

We made a tradition out of going to the pumpkin patch, last year was our first year and Oliver remembers going! He was really excited to go back this year to see all of the animals and to pick out a few pumpkins to bring home!

Oliver admiring all of the big pumpkins.

He really enjoyed petting and looking at all of the animals.

Oliver, Carter, and Kaleb.

It was a gloomy day and Carter was tired so he really enjoyed sticking close to Daddy.

We stopped in the shop and got each of the boys a candy necklace.

It was all over their faces by the time we were done, but it was worth it.

Oliver had a hard time biting the candy, but was very intent on getting it eaten.

Kaleb and Oliver did the hay maze last year and had a ton of fun so they made sure to go through again this time. Carter got to join this year...not sure what he thought of it though. I think he was just along for the ride more than anything.

Oliver, Carter, and Kaleb checking out the pony corral.

The boys looking at the cutest little goats.

Kaleb also got a bag of taffy so Oliver got to try those for the first time and loved them, of course!

Oliver and I visiting one of the goats...Oliver had a mouth full of taffy ha!

These goats were so funny and would hop up on the gate to lick fingers and let everyone pet them.

Another view of the silly goats.

We had such a good time, the weather was perfect and very fall like! It was drizzling a little bit plus it was nice and chilly! We grabbed a cup of coffee and got to walk around without having to sweat the whole time! Such a nice change from last week!

You can read the post about last years visit to the pumpkin patch HERE. I can't believe how much the boys have grown!
